Subject: URGENT request for expedited eTA decision — imminent travel on September 8, 2026

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing in response to your request dated September 2, 2026, in which I was asked to submit a police certificate and court records before October 2, 2026. I am submitting this explanation through my account as instructed, because I am unable to provide the documents within the requested timeframe. However, the situation is now urgent: I am scheduled to travel to Canada on September 8, 2026 — tomorrow.

I have formally applied for the Certificate of Good Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag, VOG) with Justis, the screening authority of the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security, on September 7, 2026. I attach the official confirmation of receipt from Justis as proof that this application is actively in process. The standard processing time for a VOG in the Netherlands is 4 to 8 weeks, as stated by Justis. This delay is not within my control; it is the standard governmental processing period of the issuing authority.

I respectfully ask that the IRCC consider the attached Justis confirmation as evidence that I have taken all possible steps to comply with your request. I am unable to produce the certificate faster than the Dutch government can issue it.

Regarding the court records requested in your letter: I will obtain and submit these together with the VOG, as they relate to the same matter, and I will arrange for a certified English translation of both documents before uploading, in accordance with your requirements.

Given my imminent travel, I urgently request the following:

1. Expedited processing and a decision on my eTA application before my scheduled departure on September 8, 2026, taking into account that the VOG application is already formally submitted and in process with the Dutch authorities.
2. Acceptance of the attached Justis confirmation of receipt as provisional evidence of my compliance, pending issuance of the final certificate.
3. An extension of the document deadline to allow for the standard processing time of the Dutch authorities, so that my application is not refused solely on the basis of a delay that is outside my control.

I will upload the VOG and the court records, with certified English translations, through this account the moment they are issued to me. I am committed to full compliance and respectfully ask for urgent consideration given the imminent travel date.
