The station of singularity. Where nothing — no rank, no title, no created thing — is permitted to stand between the heart and the One it turns toward.

Maqam Fardani is a lofty spiritual station among the awliya — the saints who are dressed with the reality of the moon, responsible for teaching and transmitting knowledge from that heavenly perspective. The moon, in Sufi symbolism, represents reflection, purity, and the ability to receive and transmit the light of the Sun — the Muhammadan Reality ﷺ — to the people of Earth.
Those upon the ship of the moon — those who have reached this station — teach and guide from a reality not bound by earthly limitations. Their knowledge comes from the spiritual orbit of the moon, veiled by twelve hijabs, and always focused upon the sun. Maqam Fardani is a reality of eternal focus, unwavering in its connection to the Muhammadan Light. These awliya take on difficulties and distractions but remain steadfast, reflecting the light and realities of the Prophet ﷺ to creation.
Maqam Fardani is also associated with spiritual guardianship and intercession. During special nights, such as the White Nights, those who fast or engage in worship are dressed and blessed by the shaykh in charge of this reality, by Allah's ﷻ permission. When we recite supplications mentioning Maqam Fardani, we seek to be dressed and blessed by these high-level saints, even without fully comprehending the depths of these realities — sincerity and following the guidance of the shaykhs allows us to receive these blessings.
May Allah ﷻ grant you to be dressed by the lights and blessings of Maqam Fardani, to receive the guidance and intercession of the awliya of the moon, and to remain always focused on the light of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
Diwan e Awliya — the spiritual gathering of the saints. Bright, scattered, many.
Maqam Fardani — the Ghawth, the highest station of a single saint. Reflected light. Singular, not scattered — yet still a light that borrows, not one that is its own source.
Ayat al-Akbar — the Great Sign of Eternity. Brighter still. And still, it sets.
"I like not those that set." He did not stop at the brightest thing he saw. He kept turning until he arrived at what does not set.
"Atiullah wa Atiur Rasula wa Ulil amre minkum..."
"Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you." — Surat An-Nisa, 4:59
